H & M Haul

Hello blog world! As you may know, I have been away for a week in sunny boiling hot Turkey with my boyfriend! So to get back in to this, here's a little nosey into my latest H&M trip for you. My nearest H&M is actually really good most of the time although I still haven't found the bobbles with the rose gold plastic on it! Some of the prices might be wrong because I cut all the tags off as I took most of this to Turkey!

Left to right- £6.99 - £3.99 (I bought this to layer) - £

I think this mint lace vest top was £19.99 or £15.99 (sorry!)

The make up bag I bought because I am going on three holidays this year and its a great size and it's metallic purple! It was £4.99. The sunglasses case is to pop into any bag and its coral- yay! It was £1.99. The earrings were £3.99 and the bracelet was £4.99.

Black shorts £7.99 (which I also bought in blue but couldn't find them...

Hope you enjoyed that quick haul. What's your favourite item that I bought? Are you going to rush in and buy something?

A Summer Primark Haul

Yes, this is the rather large Primark haul I have been promising, I hope you enjoy and you find something you like and have the urge to buy! These are things I have purchased on a number of trips to Primark along with my Mum. I could write a book on my local Primark, it's much messier than you can imagine, worst one I've been in, but at the same time it's very good.

Anyway, here's most of my Primark beauties...
Left to right- Blue beach dress £5 - Striped maxi dress £10

These two summer dresses should brighten this horrible rainy day for you! On the left is a short beach dress with white rope-like straps. I bought this to wear to the beach and pool on holiday. The right is a grey maxi dress with stripes that has a low front and back that is also for the poolside and wandering around on holiday.

These two collar vest tops are my favourite purchases in this haul. The yellow one is sheer and I wore it in my last OOTD. It has gold buttons and a white collar. The pink/ nude one has a black collar, no buttons and gold plastic detail on the collar which I think is very gorgeous.
Left to right- £10  £6

The usual shorts from Primark as I was in desperate need of light blue denim shorts and this amazing bikini I found! It's almost like dip-dye and I absolutley love it! Might take the padding out as it's a little too much boob-age.
Left to right- Blue denim shorts £5 - Bikini top £5 -  Bikini bottoms £3

Two cropped vests which I was in great need of. The great
Left to right- Dark grey vest top with  black sparkly heat £4  - Light grey vest top with sequined flamingo £5

Hehe, these always make me giggle! I bought these to wear on the Diamond Jubilee weekend and got so many compliments! But I would say for the same number of compliments I got, I saw someone else wearing them!
Union Jack Washed Leggings- £ 10

Some bits from the underwear/ PJ's section are the two bandeau that I've seen around. I couldn't find the sea blue one I wanted so I bought these, to go under big vest tops or over a bikini. The pajamas are for my holiday to Turkey with my boyfriend.
Left to right- Both bandeaus £3 (I think)  - Pajama top £3 - Pajama Bottoms £3

Haven't purchased much accessorie type bits from Primark as it is literally like a bomb has hit the floor, so as I stayed on the outside, I found these. Usual hair slides/ kirby grips some pastel coloured bobbles of all sizes and a pastel ring that was in a recent OOTD.
Left to right-Slides £1 - Bobbles £1 - Ring £2

Who doesn't love a good pair of sunglasses for £2? As I loose and break them easily, I'm sticking to cheap and cheerful ones.
£2

So that's my haul for you today! Hope you're having a good Monday, I have a very bad head from when 11 of my friends came round for some drinks and card games- it was worth it! I am going to Turkey with my boyfriend in 12 DAYS! And he comes home from Fiji in four days after being there for five weeks already! Hence all the hauls, I have to keep busy you see! Might do a What's in my..... for different holiday bits soon, as I've already packed! Overall I'm pleased with my purchases, speak soon.

Update and Haul!

Oh my gosh. I haven't posted a blog in over a month and I really miss it- sorry! Just haven't got round to coming on. The boyfriend is away for 5 weeks volunteering in Fiji (so proud) but I have been so busy and he is home in two weeks. I have a pile of stuff to review and show and I have been shopping non-stop for summer, although there is no point in this weather in UK. This is a quick part of a huge amount (which I forgot to post AGES ago) of stuff I've written all down to show and review for you all.

Firstly I bought this watch from River Island for £18 and I just died for it. I has a this leather brown strap with a gorgeous diamanté outline and a bird with flowers in the background. I haven't seen this on any other blog which is quite surprising, but isn't it lovely?!

This bracelet was in the River Island sale from £5 to £2 which I thought was great. It has a gold chain with a hamster hand with a diamond in the middle.

I visited Superdrug also and purchased the liquid eye-liner in shade 1 which I haven't tried yet same with the eye-shadow in shade 11.They were both £1. Will review soon.

This I couldn't live with. I love this eye make-up remover!! Its cheap at £3.39 and with a cotton pad is very effective although sometimes I get watery eyes but I think that's because I smudge eye make-up into it!

I'm going to be posting what I did on my Birthday, asap. Need to take pictures of what I received first and of my amazing surprise from my boyfriend. I have clothes, shoes, make-up, cosmetics, nail varnish and a possible room tour/ make up collection if enough people want to have a nosey! Will be posting soon!

MUA Haul and Review

I am off College today so I thought I would post a very out of date MUA haul. 'There's no getting away from the fact this is the best priced cosmetics collection available in the country'. MUA is famous with UK bloggers for its £1 prices so I thought I would dive in and tell you all. The packaging is rather plain, but who’s complaining at £1? At least it’s not tacky right? Plus I have decided to cut down on the amount I write for reviews as I personally hate coming across huge paragraphs and would rather points! All of these products were £1.

I bought two eyeliners (shades 6&7).
Positives- Cheap, well pigmented
Negatives- starts to flake after an hour, takes 2-3 minutes to dry, applicator and product thickness means application can be difficult/ uneven.
6/10
Shade 6- Shade 7

Bronzer Shade 1 – Lightest shade
Positives- Very sparkly!
Negatives- Quite a gritty texture, more bronze than gold. Glitter leaves your cheeks very quickly!
7/10

Blusher Shade 2
Positives- Perfect for my skin tone (fair to medium), gave a natural flushed look.
Negatives- N/A
10/10

Lipstick Shade 1
Lipstick Shade 3- does tend to bleed and is very pink!
Lipstick Shade 8
Lipstick Shade 9
Remind me of e.l.f essential lipsticks.
Positives- Easy to apply, pigment noticeable, look more expensive, moisterising.
Negatives- Need to top up often as it does transfer.
8/10
Shade 1, 3, 8, 9

Pearl Eyeshadow Shade 8
Positives- Very pigmented, blends easily
Negatives- This colour is quite bright, not really my style
9/10

Sorry about the lack of posting, my charger is still broken and I have to place it in a particular way which is so frustrating! Plus I’ve had my cello exam which went good I think... Don’t want to jinx it!

Just another Collective Haul...

Hey everyone! This is a simple haul for you all, hope you enjoy!

So in my Village, there's a shop which is all about Yankee Candles called UNO, which I LOVE! So I bought this sample for £1.05 and a Yankee candle holder for £4.99 and it is soo gorgeous!!

This second item is from an independent jewelry boutique called Eden and this was £10. It sells the most beautiful, vintage, individual jewelry around... I was in great need of an earrings holder.

So today I went to Matalan with my Mum and bought a few sale items and bits and bobs (thanks to mum who paid for a lot!)...

I needed a soap dish (I know- random) just so I can take my LUSH soaps back to my room! £3

I found this top in the children's section and is a size 16 so it should fit! Was £10 Now £5

This next top is for summer and has a lovely floral print. Was £10

This sheer shirt with a peter pan collar has female deers on it and feels gorgeous! Was £14 Now £7

When I saw this jumper, I just thought of Happy Feet and fell in love! Was £20 Now £10

I bought these shoes for £10 as I want to stock up on pumps for Spring!

Lastly I bought my other half a DVD that he's been longing too watch again to relive some childhood memories, so I couldn't resist! £4.99)

Hope you enjoyed my quick haul! I know I am behind on my MUA haul and review- so sorry, I shall do it ASAP. I promise! Enjoy the rest of the week bloggers,

Valentines Day Summary and Lush Gift Set Review

Hello my gorgeous followers! I just wanted to share with you a quick post about my Valentines day (if you're interested). This is a picture of my boyfriend, Grant and I. His shirt is from Superdry and my dress was a handpicked Christmas present from him, from Lipsy- I'm so lucky! We went to ASK in town and had a lovely meal, unfortunately we only had two hours or so together because my man had work in the morning, but it was still amazing!

I woke up on Tuesday and found that a huge box had been delivered for me! Turns out I had received my first sent flowers to the door- half a dozen pink (my favorite colour) roses! So here they are on my desk!

Also, before we went out, he gave me another present! A Lush Valentines Gift set which I have been going on about because I just think they are so adorable and the packaging is to die for!

So the box contains four items from Lush-

1. It's Raining Men- Shower and hair gel.
This is my new favorite sent from Lush. The gel is thick and honey scented, it feels luxurious and a little always goes a long way from these bottles! Can't get enough of this scent!
10/10

2. Soft Coeur Massage Bar
This massage bar smells identical too Honey I Washed The Kids, which I love, so if you're like me, I urge you to buy this! It's quite pricey but the smell is to die for! It smells like honey and toffee covered caramel candies with chocolates in the middle. So YUMMY! The only thing is, this massage bar seems to take so much longer to warm up and use.
8.5/10

 3. Sweetheart Soap
This limited edition soap is definitely not too miss! It's very creamy and feels gorgeous on the skin. It also leaves a long lasting scent, which I think is important. It is “a sensual blend of jasmine, mandarin and vanilla to gently inflame the passions and get things moving in the right direction.” – very suitable for Valentines Day or any romantic night!

4. Silky Underwear Dusting Powder
This is like a perfume that leaves you sparkling and silky! Grated cocoa butter melts onto the skin for a silky sensation and the powders don't make your skin feel greasy. The scent is jasmine and vetiver. The name is perfect for the smell, it's very sensual and seductive- perfect for a night in with the other half!
10/10

I bought him a jar of love hearts and a 501 movie checklist book, both from TK Maxx...

I really couldn't ask for a better guy, even if there was such thing!

Elf Haul

Hello lovelies, hope you all had a happy Valentine’s Day- I certainly did! Before Christmas, I received my first ELF haul (shame on me, I KNOW)! So here are my reviews for each product.

Daily Brush Cleaner- £2.45
I have never tried a brush cleaner before and my thoughts on this are that it looks nice and is cheap. I noticed a fragrance when I sprayed the cleaner. Maybe a floral or fruity fragrance? It does do a good, quick job after a few uses. But if you actually wanted to clean your brushes every day, I would recommend a more expensive product, as it would be worth it.
Overall- 6/10

False Lashes Dramatic Lash Kit- £1.50
I actually don’t wear falsies for personal reasons but I shall be giving these away later on in the year.

Mineral Moisturizing LiptintSPF 8  in Berry- £3.50
I actually didn’t buy this but it came in the box- bargain! I have heard that ELF are known for getting orders wrong! I’m so glad I received one! They are creamy and easy to aply and does soothe my lips!
Overall- 10/10

Hypershine Lip Gloss in Vixen- £1.50
This picture is the lip gloss applied over my lip tint. This lipgloss is smooth, not sticky and has good staying-power. But Contains paraben and mineral oil and there is no colour pay-off on pigmented lips (not even sheer).
Overall- 7.5/10

Nourishing Cuticle Pen- £1.50
This cuticle pen contains Avocado and Almond Oils, along with Vitamins E, A, C, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Aloe and according to the Elf cosmetics website, all these ingredients are supposed to "Relieve dry nails and flaky cuticles."  I actually didn’t  know what to expect but as I have been using this for four months now, I have definitely seen a difference with my cuticles and definitely provides a healthy, nourished, smooth look!
Overall- 10/10

Eye Shadow Brush- £1.50
This is such a good eyes hadow brush for this price! Supper affordable and quality is great! I effortlessly swiped over my eyelids and could blend colours smoothly. This brush definitely gets the job done.
Overall- 10/10

Concealer Brush- £1.50
Although this brush is very small, it is very cheap, firm, precise and can be used for concealer, eyeliner, inner corner highlight, brows, etc.  This is a must have brush for my collection.
Overall- 9/10

Tone Correcting Concealer in Light Beige- £1.50
I thought this might be a little orange at first but once applied to my skin, it blended into something manageable. I would recommend this for a back-up! This concealer is also lightly scented.  It reminds me of oranges, but definitely citrusy.
Overall- 9/10

Brightening Eye Liner in ‘Exotic Green’ and ‘Teal’ - both £1.50
The pigmentation in these eyeliners were very faint unless I applied three or more swatches onto my hand, but what do I expect at the price?! Great price and comes with a sharpener. They don’t irritate my eyelids and are very soft!
Overall- 8/10
(LEFT AND MIDDLE)

Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in Plum Passion- £1.00
I bought this eyeliner because of the bright colour and cheap price! It is creamy and the colour does show up. It does not smudge but fades through the day. This eyeliner is not for use in the waterline as it just disappears the next second! The pencils have a sharpener cap that makes it easy to sharp it instantly and the tip of a specific color does not get messed or mixed up with the remains of other sharpened colors.
Overall- 7/10
(RIGHT)

Swatches-
TOP- Teal
MIDDLE- Exotic Green
RIGHT- Plum Passion

Thanks for reading my post my gorgeous fellow beauty addicts. I have a Valentines day post and MUA review coming up...
NOTE- some of these products were in the sale.
